Water damage causes ceiling damage.

SERVPRO arrived to this house immediately after the homeowners experienced a major leak in their upstairs water heater. Due to the heavy pressure of the water, the leak ultimately caused the ceiling to cave in and collapse. In addition to the ceiling fan collapsing, all the insulation fell with it. Not only can water cause mold issues but it can also cause further damage to the home if it continues to sit for a long period of time. SERVPRO instantly began cleaning up the fallen drywall and insulation and then immediately placed drying equipment around the house to ensure the entire affected area was dry. Lastly, they removed the damaged ceiling to prepare it for the reconstruction phase.
